Tashkent, Uzbekistan

As we walked out of our guesthouse for the first time Tuesday morning, we stumbled upon a most breathtaking city. Tashkent took us by surprise with its colorful people and stunning architecture. We spent most of our day in the bazaar strolling along melon stalls and watching locals do their daily shopping.

On The Road Again!

With mixed feelings of love and frustration, we part with our families and friends once again.
Farewell TLV...

Pronto, Tel Aviv

Looking for some peace and quiet after a hectic quasi-return, we went out for dinner, just the two of us, at one of our favorite restaurants in TLV. Pronto is probably the best Italian place you can find in the Middle East region, and it's not as expensive as it appears. Last minute reservations left us with two seats on the bar where we were showered with champagne and cocktails by the generous bartender.

Spotted in the far left corner: Ron Huldai, Mayor of Tel Aviv.

Wearing whatever we could find or borrow, we attended Y and M's wedding. A New York style event below Jerusalem's Old City walls.

A Message.

Just outside the Chinese embassy in TLV we came across this bizarre message. Not sure what to make of it...
