The last day of the festival is the real deal. As people gathered along the streets, so did we. The yearly parade honoring the Goddess of the River was packed with shiny floats, high school students wearing colorful costumes and even a marching band. We braved the crowds and followed the parade to the riverbed where we all sent off burning candles into the water.
